The Mahwah Police Department and Mahwah Municipal Alliance are joining forces to serve families in need in the area. The pair, inspired by the comments of those in the community who are able to donate, is hosting a Coat/Clothing Drive.

The drive calls for new, clean, and slightly worn coats and clothing, as well as unused footwear. The drop-off location is the rear of the Mahwah Police Department, located at 221 Franklin Turnpike. The donations may be made any time from Tuesday, Jan. 4, to Saturday, Jan. 8, between 9am and 5pm.

The recipient families can retrieve the donated items at the Mahwah Senior Citizens Center at 475 Corporate Drive. The pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15, between 9am and 5pm, though the date and time are subject to change.

Need more information on the Drive? Contact Officer Joseph Horn at the Mahwah Police Department at dare@mahwahpd.org or at 201-529-1000 ext. 211.
