Mahwah resident Ryan Ford recently competed in the Franklin Lakes Splash N' Dash which took place at the Indian Trail Club on September 8.

Ryan finished first in the boys age 10 group. 

He swam 200 yards (8 laps) and ran 1.5 miles with a finshing time of 19:17:91.  This is the third year Ryan has competed in this Biathlon. 

His father, Ken Ford, recently competed in the New York City Ironman Race which was held on August 11. The New York City Ironman Race consisted of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run. 

Ken placed 64th in his age group for men with a finishing time of 11:54:02.
