Dear Editor,

Betsy Ross is in full swing organizing our biggest fundraiser of the year, the annual Walk-A-Thon, which is scheduled for October 13, 2012.

This event takes place at the school where over 100 baskets will be set up in the parking lot that the attendees have an opportunity to win.

The Walk-A-Thon committee is asking for donations from local businesses and families for this grand event. [Both monetary sponsorships and product/raffle item donations] help support many of the schools activities including, but not limited to the monthly school wide assemblies, The Read-A-Thon, Science Day and Field Day.

It is a day the families and community come together. If you are able to help support this event please contact the HSO school President Susan Swofford at Susan@Swofford.us.
