Dartmouth Aires Holiday Concert in Mahwah Thursday
The group from NBC's 'The Sing Off' will return to the township for a free performance
A cappella, take two.
The Dartmouth Aires, the finalists from last year’s NBC singing competition reality show, “The Sing Off,” will be performing in Mahwah again. The glee club from Dartmouth College who came in second place on the show’s third season, is performing at a community event being hosted by the Temple Beth Haverim Shir Shalom on Ramapo Valley Road.
The Aires have become known for their entertaining, quirky performance style and group harmonies. Thursday’s performance is expected to be an hour-long concert of jazz, rock’ n roll, holiday, show and traditional College songs.
This is the group’s second holiday performance in Mahwah. Last year, the Aires included the township as a stop on its tour because one of its members grew up attending Beth Haverim Shir Shalom.
The show is this Thursday, Dec. 6. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7. The event is free to attend and open to the community.
Voluntary donations for a Dartmouth scholarship fund will be collected at the concert, which is being sponsored by the college’s alumni association of Northern NJ. The suggested donation is $10 per individual, $30 per family.

Enjoyed the competition this past season and became a strong fan. Great work Aires, and great to see the wonderful connection to Mahwah.
