Welcome to Future Friends, a weekly Patch column highlighting a selection of adoptable pets from around the area. This week's pets hail from Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI)

Cassie

A Shepherd/Chow Chow mix, Cassie arrived at the shelter with her mom, Charlotte, and her three brothers. She is a cute pup now looking for her forever home. 

Dale

A Shepherd/Doberman Pinscher mix, this baby boy arrived at the shleter with his Mom Tasha and his four siblings. 

Athena

A Domestic Short Hair/Brown Tabby  mix, Athena is a young, vocal cat that likes to lounge around and enjoy the good life. She is on the small side and loves to be held. She has  a great personality and a beautiful coat and markings.

Lizzy

A large Calico, Lizzy is the perfect companion cat. She loves to sit on laps and purr. She can be a bit feisty at times but she is also really sweet and affectionate and will follow you all around to make sure you have company. 

Maya

A  medium adult female, Maya is a stunning black and white cat. She has the softest, prettiest coat and sweetest disposition. She is only two years old and is looking for a loving home to grow in. She has lived with dogs and cats and has done well with both. She likes to play with cat friends and people, but is also a calm couch potato.  

If you are interested in any RBARI pet, complete their Online Adoption Application or visit the shelter during adoption hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 8 p.m.  Wednesdays from 12 to 4 p.m., by appointment only, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
