Fishing
Anyone with a valid NJ fishing license is invited to fish in the reservation's lakes and in the Ramapo River. The Ramapo is stocked with trout by the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife every spring.

Above are just 10 stills of an unlimited number of subtle treasures at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation – a popular summer spot for couples, families, joggers, hikers, fishermen and dog walkers.

At over 3,300 acres, this reservation, off Route 202 in Mahwah, is the county’s largest park.

According to the NY-NJ Trails Conference, the Reservation houses 10 marked trails. The routes for several different hiking trails inside the reservation are available on the Trail Conference website.
