Home Depot Spring Festival Saturday

Mahwah store to offer free DIY workshops, water testing and estimates to adults and kids

This Saturday, the Mahwah Home Depot is kicking off its spring season with a series of free do-it-yourself workshops for adults and kids. The store’s “Spring Festival” is from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. this Saturday.

“We will have available to our community, installers and vendors to speak to our customers and free workshops for adults and children,” Home Depot’s Sharon VanCisco-Boccadoro said. “Customers can also drop off a sample of their tap water for a free water analysis.”

A schedule of free adult workshops will include classes on raised garden beds, pavers, outdoor power tools and entry door locks. “For those who do not want to do their own projects, our "Home Services" offers install programs,” VanCisco-Boccadoro said. “We offer free estimates on most of these programs such as: Roofing, Siding, Windows, Gutters, Heating & Air-Conditioning, Generators, Oil to Gas Conversion, Solar, Kitchen Cabinet Refacing, Bathroom Renovation, Fencing and much more.”

Kids can stop by their own workshop, where they will make a Garden Planter.

VanCisco-Boccadoro said Home Depot is excited for the upcoming event because “[we] are part of the Mahwah Community.”
