LAST CHANCE: Vote For Mahwah Teen Singer In TV Talent Competition
Student competed in the finals of MSG Varsity’s ‘The Talent Show;’ Voting closes Thursday morning and the winner will be crowned Sunday
Mahwah High School senior Sam Waxenbaum has made it to the Final Round of the MSG Varsity talent competition ‘The Talent Show.’ Waxenbaum was chosen as one of 32 acts in four competition categories on the TV show, and thanks to viewer votes over the past few weeks, he has advanced to the finals.
Waxenbaum is competing in the solo vocalist category. He is vying for the title against three other singers. Waxenbaum is the only soloist left in the competition from New Jersey. If he wins, Waxenbaum will get a two-day professional studio experience to cut a demo CD or video, custom cover art, and a professional photo shoot.
The singer’s last competition performance, “I Would Do Anything For Love,” aired on MSG last Sunday. You can see his performance, as well as the entire episode, here. Shuttle to about 21 minutes into the video to see Waxenbaum sing.
