1. Celebrate Fat Tuesday with the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce at its Public Spirit Showcase. The event spotlights over 25 regional non-profit organizations.
2. Want to know how to use the library’s e-book borrowing program? Head there with your Kindle or Nook at 7 p.m. to learn.
3. Mahwah schools are closed Tuesday in observance of the President’s Day holiday.
4. Have a kid who wants to play rec or travel baseball? According to the Mahwah Youth Baseball website, indoor travel baseball tryouts are February 21, 22 and 23 (click here for the schedule). The outdoor tryout will be conducted on February 25 (weather permitting).
