Pink Ribbon Bagels On Sale For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The cherry vanilla bagel will be sold at the Ramsey Panera Bread all month

The Panera Bread in the Ramsey Square on Route 17 is helping raise money throughout the month for the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Panera will be selling the ‘Pink Ribbon Bagels’ throughout the month of October. According to a release from the eatery, 10 cents from every bagel sold throughout the month will be donated to the CINJ.

And, on Wednesday, October 10, 100 percent of proceeds from the sale of the Pink Ribbon Bagel will be donated to the CINJ.

All 41 Panera locations in Northern and Central N.J. participate in the annual fundraiser, which has raised over $40K for the CINJ over the past six years, the release said.

“The Pink Ribbon bagel is the one bagel that our customers ask about all year long. They enjoy the taste of the cherry vanilla bagel, but most important -- they enjoy knowing that a portion of the money they spend is going to support such a vital cause,” Panera Director of Operations, Robert MacEachern said in the release.

In addition to the Ramsey location, locals can look to pick up Pink Ribbon Bagels at Paneras in Woodcliff Lake, Paramus (two locations), Northvale, Fair Lawn, Edgewater and East Rutherford.
