This Thursday night the Sheraton Mahwah Hotel played host to the Greater Ramsey UNICO's third annual "Charity di Vino." Residents from around the area gathered for North Jersey's biggest wine tasting event in an effort to donate to charities supported by the Italian-American service organization.
Four local groups -- the Center for Food Action, Meals on Wheels, Hearts and Crafts Counseling and Meaningful Movements -- benefitted from the evening of wine, food, dessert, and entertainment.
Event co-chair Lou LaVigna called the event "really great. I am so grateful to everyone who came out."
