Route 17 IHOP Serving Free Pancakes Tuesday
Celebrate National Pancake Day and help out the Children's Miracle Network
Last year, the IHOP in Ramsey served over 6,000 free pancakes on National Pancake Day. And this year, managers at the Route 17 restaurant say they may serve even more.
So, locals should get the syrup ready and prepare for large groups of people flocking to the area as IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day Tuesday by giving away free short stacks of buttermilks all day.
The celebration, which started in 2006, is in an effort to raise money for charities. This year, IHOP is encouraging free diners to donate the money they would have spent on pancakes to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
According to its website, IHOP’s free pancake day has raised more than $10 million for various charities. This year, the chain says it hopes to raise $3M.
If you are planning to indulge, know that there are a few rules – you can’t combine the freebie with any other offers, you can only get one per customer, you have to dine in (so be prepared to wait on line if you head to IHOP for your free pancakes), and they are only available while supplies last.
