Tuesday evening residents of all ages gathered at Lake Henry for the annual "Paddle Day," put on by the Mahwah Recreation Department. Attendees enjoyed free kayak and canoe rides, courtesy of Ramsey Outdoor.

The annual event at the lake behind Continental Soldiers' Field is "a lot of fun," Pam Ciofalo, who attends the event every year with her daughter Angelica, said. "It's very peaceful out on the water. I like being in nature."
