Stag Hill Roadwork Starting Monday
No Parking signs and closures will lead to 'inconveniences' for drivers
Milling and paving of Stag Hill Road, part of the township’s 2012 Roads Program, is scheduled to begin on Monday.
According to a notice from township engineer Boswell McClave Engineering, the roadwork will take place along Stag Hill Road, from Route 287 to Ramapo Brae, and Geiger to Pine Hill road, and along Geiger Road from Stag Hill to Split Rock Road.
Mahwah’s engineer warned in the notice that the roadwork would lead to closures and “some inconvenience for access to and from the residences and businesses” in the area. There will also be ‘No Parking’ signs posted along the affected streets.
Boswell said in the notice that measures would be taken to assure “minimal” inconveniences and that work will be finished “as quickly as possible.”
Residents with questions or concerns about access can call Michael Nannini at 201-373-8903.
Paving in the Cragmere section of Mahwah that began last week is also expected to continue this week.
