Super Bowl 47: Where to Watch in Mahwah

Which party sounds the best to you?

All week long, check Mahwah Patch to help get you ready for Super Bowl 47. If you’re not up for cooking cocktail weenies, ordering pizza, and hosting a group of screaming fans on your living room couch, consider watching the big game at these Mahwah restaurants:

Boom Burger: It’s the restaurant’s first Super Bowl in Mahwah since opening last October, and it is celebrating in a big way. All of the restaurant’s 40 flat screens will be playing the game, and Boom will offer drink specials, giveaways and raffles throughout the game.

Mason Jar: The Super Bowl Party is on starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, with drink specials like $10 buckets and pitchers of beer, and a $15 all-you-can-eat buffet.

The Grille: This restaurant is getting the party started early, with live music courtesy of Richie G. before the game, from 2-6 p.m. Then, check out the game on The Grille’s five flat screens and enjoy drinks at its brand new bar.

Mahwah Bar and Grill: No party here this year because MB&G will be closed Sunday and Monday due to kitchen repairs.

Or, check out these nearby Super Bowl parties:

Brady’s at the Station: The popular Ramsey Main Street eatery will have the game on Sunday in the restaurant and bar. According to Patch’s impromptu Facebook call out a week ago, Brady’s was named one of the hot spots in Ramsey to check out the game.

Chili’s: The restaurant’s bar and lounge room will be celebrating the Super Bowl all day long, with happy hour drink specials and appetizers on sale for $2.99 and $4.99. And, of course, the game will be on all seven screens.

Houlihan’s: The restaurant and bar will have the game on Sunday. And, be sure to look for Happy Hour drink specials during the Super Bowl.

The Shannon Rose: Look for drink specials and the game playing on all of the TVs in the Irish pub and restaurant this Sunday. Staff members say guests will have a fun time enjoying Shannon Rose’s second Super Bowl in Ramsey.

Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza: It’s a good place to celebrate football, because it’s partly owned by one of the greats. Dan Marino was in Ramsey to officially launch the restaurant when it opened in 2011. This Sunday, look for drink specials, tailgate party food options for parties of 10 or more, and the big game playing on all the restaurant’s TVs.
