Teen Drinking Talk, Les Paul Remembered This Week In Mahwah

Stories to expect this week include one on a “critical piece of infrastructure” that needs to be replaced at Mahwah High School

Monday

A bank in Mahwah is working to help local non-profits collect extra money from supporters in the community. Some groups have collected big paychecks from the “Community Alliance” program. Find out how on Monday.

Tuesday

Officials are saying a “critical piece of infrastructure” needs to be replaced at Mahwah High School, and it is going to cost the district a pretty penny. Find out what system, which was installed in the 1950’s, needs to go.

Wednesday

A member of the ‘Les Paul Trio,’ Bucky Pizzarelli, will be talking about his friend and band mate, the late Les Paul, at the Mahwah Museum Tuesday night. The event is sold out, but see highlights from it Wednesday on Patch.

Thursday

The Mahwah Municipal Alliance is hosting a ‘Teen Drinking Forum’ Wednesday night with an expert panel who will share information on what police say is a “spiking” problem among Mahwah’s youth. See highlights of the event Thursday on Patch.

Friday

Check Patch Friday for a recap of the decisions made at Thursday night’s town council meeting.
