1. Mahwah’s 23^rd Annual Fishing Contest will be held on Saturday, May 26 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Silver Creek, located on the corner of Airmount Road and Airmont Ave. Various prizes will be awarded to Mahwah resident anglers, ages 5 to 13. Proof of residency will be required at registration. Rain or Shine.
2. Mahwah’s Annual Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 28. The participants will line up at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Island Rd. and the parade will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Participants will march to Veterans Square for the traditional Memorial Day Service.
