Travel Soccer Team To Play Tournament In Italy

1. Eighth graders will head back to Ramapo Ridge tonight at 7 p.m. for the eighth grade dance. Look out for photo opportunities throughout the township.
2. According to the Mahwah Recreation Department, kids looking to get involved in the , happening next Saturday, can register in-person today, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Rec Building at Commodore Perry. Those who can’t make it can also register via the forms at the township website. Interested families should email mahwahrec@gmail.com for more information.
3. Check out happening Saturday, June 11, at 6 p.m. at Mahwah High School.  The team will take on the NY Red Bull Youth Academy to raise funds for the Mahwah Raiders 16U Travel team to travel to Italy for 10 days beginning June 29. The team will participate in the “Italy Cup,” an international tournament in which teams from over 100 countries will compete. The team is raising money for uniforms and various other expenses.
4. Kids and teens – looking for a new hobby this summer? Check out information on the library’s , meeting today at 3 p.m.
5. Showers and thunderstorms possible today, but temperatures are forecasted to break a bit, with the National Weather Service calling for a high of 85 degrees.
