- The New York Sports Club of Mahwah is hosting an open house Wednesday. Non-members are invited to stop by between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. to try out all of the facility’s offerings, including its strength training & cardio equipment, group exercise classes, basketball court, sauna and steamroom.
- Ramapo’s Salameno School of American and International Studies will be screening an Italian film, “Una Giornata Particolare” Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The screening is free and open to the public.
- Remember to pick up raffle tickets Wednesday night for the Mahwah Fire Department Company 2 fundraiser. You could win season tickets to see the 2012-2013 NY Giants.
- The Mahwah school board will be holding its final public hearing on its proposed 2012-2013 school budget Wednesday at 7 p.m. The latest iteration of the district’s spending plan included a 1.87 percent tax increase for residents and nine new hires.
