At a recent Candidates Night event held by the Mahwah Library Baord of Trustees, the township's two council and three mayoral candidates answered the following question: "Rising taxes have become an issue during this campaign season. If you are elected, do you think it's realistically possible to lower taxes for Mahwah residents, while maintaining services? If so, please specifically address how you would plan on doing that. If not, please say why."

. Of the three candidates, ONLY John DaPuzzo has the background, experience, and proven leadership abilities to continue to be Mayor of Mahwah. John has a long and distinquished record of honesty, not just saying what he thinks people want to hear at every turn of events, and a sterling background and reputation as a long time elected official here in town. Why do you think he was selected as interim mayor in the first place? It is because of his past performance, action and reputation, which definitely qualifies him for re-election. John stands high above the other candidates in many areas of qualification, and outright standing by what he says. He does not 'stick his finger in the air' at every turn of events to see which way the wind blows.
Re-elect John DaPuzzo, the best choice for Mahwah!!

Earl, Explain why Mr. DaPuzzo's wife is pocketing 40K plus for a part time, once a month meeting, recreation gig??????????????????? I do not think this is right at all!!!!!! John DaPuzzo is the wrong choice for Mahwah!!
