What’s Open in Mahwah

Long lines were seen at local eateries that have power

 

Residents were seen flocking to local eateries that are open and have power Tuesday afternoon, as an estimated 80 percent of the township was without power Tuesday as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

Long lines were seen at McDonalds on Route 17, Dunkin Donuts in the A&P Plaza and the Burger King on Route 17 South.

Spots in the township open for business include:

Officials are recommending residents stay home unless it is necessary to travel.

The Subway and other food sections of Valero on 17N.
