What’s Open on Martin Luther King Day in Mahwah?
Schools and the library are, but most banks and the PO will be closed
Before you head out the door on Monday, check the list below to see what’s open, and what isn’t.
- Mahwah schools will be in session on MLK, Jr. Day. The day was added by into the school calendar after Hurricane Sandy. Patch readers recently debated whether or not the agreed with the decision.
- Town Hall will be closed.
- The Recycling Center will be closed.
- The Mahwah Public Library will be open.
- Monday is a U.S. Post Office holiday. Local branches will be closed and there will be no mail delivery.
- Bank of America will be closed.
- Boiling Springs Savings Bank will be closed.
- PNC Bank will be closed.
- Wells Fargo will be closed.

The township calendar clearly states that there would be no garbage pickup in Monday, January 21..there WAS pickup!
