What’s Open on President’s Day in Mahwah?
Schools, mail and recycling are out, but shopping is on
Before you head out the door this Monday, remember it's a holiday, and many places in and around Mahwah will not be open for business. Check this list before you go!
Closed
- Town Hall is closed
- The Mahwah Public Library is closed
- There will be no recycling pick up
- Mahwah schools are closed Monday and Tuesday
- Ramapo College offices are closed, but classes will be held
- There will be no mail delivery and post offices are closed
- Bank of America is closed
- Boiling Springs Savings Bank is closed
Open
- TD Bank is open
- Most local restaurants and stores are open (and, it's a good shopping day, thanks to all of the President’s Day sales)

Wrong about recycling--they passed my house as I went out the door, but did do a pickup at the neighbors' houses. I asked the Township that they post a dropdead time as to how late can it be put out for pickup. Otherwise, the Township website only states the earliest we can put it out.
