Yesterday my GPS was freaking out. I was driving on a highway but it didn’t
think so. The little car image wandered all over the place trying to “recalculate.”
It would gravitate to what it thought was the nearest road then the little
car would spin around dizzily as if in trapped in a game of pin the car on the
road.  

I wondered what made the unit go bonkers. Heat? Humidity? A recent free fall from my windshield caused by those culprits?

Then I decided that my GPS’ troubles were a metaphor for life. Sometimes we lose our way. People tell us to go one way and we want to follow our own path.  The (often conflicting) outside advice can be dizzying.

So when you are feeling a little lost maybe it’s best to trust your instincts, have a little faith, and keep moving forward in spite of what the map says. That's what got me home!
