What a crazy week this has been in the world of sports!

Lance Armstrong finally admits, on Oprah TV of course, that he is a COMPLETE FRAUD, having cheated on all of his Tour de France championships. This comes after this fraud had the audacity to attempt to sue people for implying he was a cheat. The only regret is the money and fame he took for those that would have won had he not cheated. How do you pay those people Lance? By the way, aren't you the one who dumped Sheryl Crow as soon as you found out she had cancer?  What a guy!

Manti Te'O either made up or was involved in one of the craziest hoaxes in modern history. Manti, a linebacker at Notre Dame and sure fire first round NFL draft pic apparently had a girlfriend who didnt exist. I am not sure how to feel about this other than to say its kind of pathetic. 

The internet, or Land of Make Believe as I call it, I guess can be a companion to those who can't or won't be involved in the real human race. Perception becomes reality for some apparently as chat rooms are full of people 24-7.  What is baffeling to most of us is Manti's need to conjure up an imaginary partner or at least go along with it. Last time I saw Manti he was missing tackles against Alabama in the BCS Championship game. He seems like a natural to join the NY Jets Circus, don't you think?

Just once I'd like to see a politician say that these horrible crimes committed here at home against fellow Americans are done due to a lack of respect and decency for fellow Americans.  In addition to mental illness we are becoming a desensitized society.  Is it me or does anyone wonder why the president didn't address all the glorified killing in Hollywood movies and TV shows.  How about violent video games that occupy young peoples minds? Guns dont kill, people do and if people don't have guns there will be other measures such as bombs etc.

What is going on in Atlanta?  Why is it every disgraceful reality show is filmed in the ATL.  I have been to Atlanta many times and have met some wonderful people but they seem to have the market conrnered on bad pro sports teams and awful reality shows. Thank God Tyler Perry continues to do great things in Atlanta.
