The Mahwah Real Estate market heated up in August, especially sales of condo/townhouse units. Here are last month’s numbers for Mahwah single-family homes and condos/townhouses sold, according to the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service.
Single-family homes – August 2012
While the market may have slowed down a little in July, it was busier in August. Eighteen homes sold, with an average list price of $922,794. The average sold price was $838,806, which means that the homes that sold went for approximately 90.899% of their list price. The average days on market was 91.
Condos/Townhouses – August 2012
Sales of condominiums/townhouses jumped from 9 sold in July to 20 in August! At an average list price of $351,350 and average sold price of $330,025, the sale price to list price ratio was 93.931. The units that sold averaged 99 days on the market.
