Mahwah Real Estate Market Report: September 2012
How did the Mahwah Real Estate fare last month? The condo/townhouse market remained steady from the previous month, although there was a decrease in single family home sales. Here are September’s numbers, according to the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service.
Single-family homes – September 2012
While 18 homes sold in August, that number dipped to 12 in September. Of the homes that sold, the average list price was $632,192 and the average sold price was $583,242, which means that homes sold for approximately 92.264% of their list price. The average days on market was 69.
Condos/Townhouses – September 2012
Sales of condominiums/townhouses remained steady. Nineteen units sold in September, down one unit from the previous month. But the average list price rose slightly to $358,485, as did the average sold price - $332,968. The sale-price-to-list-price ratio was 92.882. The units that sold averaged 80 days on the market, down from 99 the previous month.
