The Mahwah Republican Club has voted to endorse the following four Republican candidates running for municipal offices:  Ed Sinclair for Mayor, Lisa DiGiulio for Town Council, John Roth for Town Council, and Steve Sbarra for Town Council.   

The vote to endorse these candidates came at the conclusion of “Meet the Candidates Night” on September 12, following brief talks by each candidate. “We believe these candidates represent the vision and values of the Republican Party,” said Club President, Tracy Miceli. “By endorsing them, we are agreeing to support them, publicize our support, and help their campaigns.” 

Special guests at the meeting were Sam Raia, Chairman of the NJ Republican Committee and Mayor of Saddle River, as well as Mahwah’s District 39 Republican Senator Gerald Cardinale. Both speakers encouraged club members to help get out the vote for these candidates, as well as for the other Republicans who will be on the ballot:  Rob Hermansen, Peg Watkins, Joe Kyrillos, Scott Garrett, and the Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan team.  

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Mahwah Republican Club will be on Wed., October 24, 7 pm, Mahwah Senior Center, 475 Corporate Drive. Bergen County Republicans and prospective members who are registered Republicans are invited to attend. Visit www.MahwahGOP.com for further information.
