Mahwah announced last week that it is planning an update to its traditional Halloween celebration.
Thursday at 6 p.m., Mahwah will host its traditional Halloween parade in a new location, at town hall on Corporate Drive. After the parade, residents will be invited to participate in a “trunk-or-treat” in the municipal parking lot.
The township released the following info about the event:
Mahwah will host its Annual Halloween Parade and Trunk or Treat on Halloween, October 31, 2013 at 6 pm in the parking lot of Town Hall, 475 Corporate Drive. All Mahwah residents, young and young at heart, are welcome to participate, rain or shine.
All are welcome to join in the fun by bringing their treats in their trunks. Plan to arrive between 5:15-5:30 pm and prepare to greet the costumers.
Two great ways to join in the fun on Halloween. Prizes are awarded for costumes by age group, including the best adult accompanying a child.
Also, please bring a non-perishable food donation for the Hunger is Scary food collection box.
