Pre-Election Political Meet and Greet in Mahwah Wednesday

Get to know the four candidates running for an open seat on the township council.

Four candidates are running this year for an open seat on the Mahwah township council. Before the election on November 5, residents will get the chance to ‘Meet the Candidates’ at an event hosted by the Library Board of Trustees Wednesday night.

At this third annual event, the four candidates, who are all trying to complete the one-year term vacated by Councilman John Spiech’s surprise retirement earlier this year, will have time to introduce themselves and their platforms to voters. The candidates will also answer questions posed by moderators.

This year’s ‘Meet the Candidates’ forum is happening Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the Mahwah Public Library. It is free and open to the public.
