It’s one word that can make people cringe, angry and sad all at the same time, a rare occurrence indeed. There are plenty of reasons for this – people are told at work that their budgets are being cut, their ideas cannot be funded because they are not in the budget, and in our personal life, our budgets don’t usually quite match up to our desires.

Spring cleaning is a popular thing to do this time of year — windows are cleaned, mulch is laid, flowers are planted, paint is applied, and everything gets a freshening up to help recover from the long winter. 1) Review your budget — are you actually sticking to you budget?
2) Clean up your accounts — this not only helps you to keep track of your funds more easily, but the reduced paperwork and headaches are additional benefits
3) Go paperless — this helps clean out your house and helps you to access your financial information at any time
4) Go through your paperwork — this helps cut down on clutter in the house, and you might discover that you are overpaying for services.
