Sports Resolutions for 2013

New Year's Resolutions I'd like to see the local spots scene make

Happy New Year to all. Thank you all for reading my posts, and for your great comments throughout 2012. Here are some things I'd like to see in the sports world in 2013:

-A resolve by the NCAA to eliminate all non-essential bowl games. 2013 will see the institution of a playoff to determine a college football national champion. Bowl games should be limited to the Orange, Cotton, Sugar, and Rose and all should be played on New Year's Day.

-At least one win in a major for Tiger Woods

-Rex Ryan, please shut up!

-The return of the National Hockey League and the dismissal of commissioner Gary Bettman

-A reason to go to a baseball game at Citifield

-One last playoff run for Jeter, Andy, and Mo

-A long post season run for this years' New York Knicks

-A good bounce back job for Avery Johnson

-More MSG Varsity, much more

-Reduced ticket prices at Yankee Stadium and Citi Field so the common man can take his wife and kids to a ballgame

-Informative and entertaining talk show hosts for both WFAN and ESPN 98.7 NY

-John and Suzyn, one more year and a pair of glasses and binoculars for John so he doesn't have to make things up

-Kevin Burkhart to do Mets play by play

-For the YES network to trim the roster of Yankee broadcasters to Kay, Singleton, and Flash...Kay needs to work on his TV play by play get rid of his buddies

- A great back 9 on Sunday at Augusta maybe Tiger and Phil go head to head

- A BLESSED, SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
