Preservation of Trees In Mahwah

I am looking for people with expertise in trees and tree ordinances to try to get the Township to jumpstart a tree management program/shade tree commission.  The Township had a shade tree comission many years ago with a budget, authority to issue summones, and even plant new trees on the Township property when older trees died.  I believe that the majestic trees, which were long gone and not replaced are a great loss to this town.  If you have the above qualifications and want to participate, please email me at levine1945@gmail.com.  Also you can email me about your opinion regarding the preservation of the trees of Mahwah.  Thank!
