Stuff MEVO Interns Do: Dumpster Dive for Sustainability

Kat Capiroso, MEVO Farm Crew Intern of 2013, know the best way to find cardboard for sheet mulching a garden. What is it? It's dumpster diving (with style!) into local cardboard recycling containers and finding thousands of sheets of cardboard. Not only does this prevent the cardboard from being wasted, but also provides a way for MEVO's various community gardens to prosper.

So if you want to do something sustainable this summer. Spend some time with MEVO.
