The Mahwah Environmental Commission hosts discussion on flooding
The Mahwah Environmental Commission is hosting a seminar and discussion on improving watershed areas along the rivers to help mitigate the impact of flooding. We are inviting local environmental commissions, green teams and citizens to present issues, hear what other communities are doing and discuss potential steps we can take to improve our watershed areas
Join us on Saturday, June 14th from 8:30AM - 12:30PM at Ramapo College. Lunch will be served followed by an afternoon river walk with Dr. Michael Klemens an expert in using natural solutions to address local water quality and quantity concerns.
