Affordable Housing Update

Mahwah’s Affordable Housing Commission is hosting a meeting this Tuesday, at which it is expected to continue discussions on the council’s recent decision to buy an affordable housing unit, and a recently passed ordinance that will allow for the future purchase of expiring units whose owners are looking to sell.

The meeting comes amidst an ongoing controversy over Mahwah’s implementation of COAH’s 95-5 policy.
