Happy Second Birthday, Mahwah Patch!

No matter when you joined us over the past two years, thanks for becoming part of the Mahwah Patch family!

It's hard to believe that two years ago (in the midst of one of the worst blizzards of the year), the Mahwah Patch was born. The site, which focuses on hyperlocal news about the township, launched the week before New Years 2011.

One of our first stories was this welcome video, meant to introduce residents to what we hoped would become a community resource and gathering place.

Maybe you joined us back then. Or, maybe you're relatively new to the site. Perhaps you found Patch during our recent coverage of Hurricane Sandy. No matter when you first signed on, thanks for checking us out!

If you are new to the site, welcome! The video should help explain a little bit more about what we do.

Over the past two years, many members of the Mahwah community have welcomed us with open arms. So, thank you!

And, remember, get the most out of Patch by signing up for our daily newsletter, and "liking" the Mahwah Patch page on Facebook.

Here's to another great year in 2013!

Get Patched in with the Mahwah Patch newsletter. And, get updates on the Mahwah Patch Facebook and Mahwah Patch Twitter.

Happy New Year - and congratulations. You've far exceeded what I had originally expected the Patch to be (another generic "local" advertising portal). Thanks for bringing us all closer to the happenings in town!
