Mahwah Museum to Talk History of Stag Hill

Ramapough Lenape history to be a part of the Gallery Talk.

The following is a release from the Mahwah Museum. 

On Sunday, April 13, at 3 p.m., Mahwah Museum's Tom Dunn, Museum Trustee and Chair of Archives, will lead a gallery talk about the history of Stag Hill and the Green Mountain Valley.

Dunn has extensively researched land records of this area, and will talk about the Mountain School, community leadership, the Geiger Road controversy and the Ramapough Lenape nation. 

He will be joined by Wallace Dennison, former administrator of the Ramapough nation. Discussion and questions are welcome.
