Soup-er Bowl Sunday: CFA Asks Residents to Help Football-Inspired Food Drive

Families throughout the township are preparing to enjoy Super Bowl Sunday, and all that goes along with it – pizza, wings, chips, dip, and countless other appetizers.

In addition to prepping for this weekend’s parties, the township’s Center for Food Action is asking residents to take part in a different type of game, Soup-er Bowl Sunday, by donating food to locals in need.

The CFA will be donating Soup-er Bowl Sunday food to those in need on Sunday and on Valentine’s Day. The organization is asking locals to set up Soup-er Bowl drives amongst their families and friends to collect soups, other non-perishable foods and monetary donations to donate to the CFA in advance of the Super Bowl, or in the week following the big game.
