Les Paul's Son to Give Mahwah Talk on Dad

Rusty Paul will share memories of his dad, a longtime township resident.

The following was submitted to Patch by the Mahwah Museum. 

On Sunday, April 27, Rusty Paul, Les Paul’s son, will give a Gallery Talk at the Mahwah Museum at 3:30 p.m. in the upstairs gallery.  

The museum will open regular hours – at 1pm.  Arrive before the talk and experience the permanent Les Paul exhibit as well as the ‘Neighborhoods of Mahwah.’

Rusty Paul, a musician in his own right, will share memories and stories about his father, sign autographs, and will give listeners a rare and unique glimpse into the life of a music legend.

The Mahwah Museum will host the third annual Les Paul Birthday Gala on Saturday June 14 at 7:30p.m., in honor of what would have been Les Paul’s 99th birthday.  The Gala, held at Ramapo College, will include live entertainment by Bucky Pizzarelli, Lou Pallo and other talented musicians, and live and silent auctions of guitars autographed by legendary musicians such as Les Paul, Paul McCartney, BB King, Pete Townshend,  Slash,  Ron Wood and Mick Taylor.
