Photos: 'Idiot's Delight' Hits Mahwah High School

High School play is on Saturday and Sunday

The Mahwah High School Drama Club is putting on a production of Robert E. Sherwood’s Pulitzer Prize winning play, "Idiot’s Delight."

The play depicts an assortment of characters who are stranded in a ski resort in the Italian Alps at the precipice of World War II. Antics ensue due to the international cast of characters each harboring secrets.

Directed by Jean Johnson, Mahwah High School Drama teacher, the students have been working hard on the acting, the language, set design and costumes. Performances are at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 through Saturday, Jan. 12, and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Jan. 13.
