Chatter amongst township football fans is already focusing on the feasibility of attending the 2014 Super Bowl.
While tickets prices and availability might keep lots of local fans from attending the February game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, the Mahwah Schools Foundation is offering residents a way to get into the game for free, and benefit the township school system at the same time.
The MSF announced this week its Super Bowl Raffle, which will give away two tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII, plus $1,500 is Visa gift cards for tailgating. The grand prize package is worth $4,500.
The raffle’s second prize isn’t too shabby, either – a 60-inch LED HDTV from Sharp worth $1,199.
A winner will be drawn on Saturday, December 7 at Continental Soldiers Field. Winners need not be present.
Raffle tickets are $25 each, with proceeds benefitting Mahwah schools. Locals can buy tickets or get more information on the raffle on the MSF’s website, or by contacting Ben Kezmarsky at 201-523-0070 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
