Which of Mahwah’s eateries would you call the best in the county?
Bergen Health and Life Magazine recently posted the results of its annual Best of Bergen Restaurant and Food Readers’ Choice Awards, and a few Mahwah spots grabbed top honors.
The River Palm Terrace nabbed the Number One finish in the Best Steak Restaurant category. It was followed by Morton’s in Hackensack, The Capital Grille in Paramus, Park West Tavern in Ridgewood and The Park Steakhouse in Park Ridge.
In the Best Diner category, Mahwah’s Stateline Diner tied for second place, alongside the Chit Chat in Hackensack. The two were beat out by the Ridge Diner in Park Ridge. The Daily Treat in Ridgewood also made the list.
Looking for the best taco in the county? Moe’s Southwest Grill in Mahwah has some of the best, according to the results. It was beat out by Jalapenos Mexican Grille in Glen Rock, Blue Moon Mexican Café in Wyckoff, and Chipotle in Ramsey.
Last but not least, Mahwah represented in the Best Bar Food category. The Mahwah Bar and Grill came in third place, behind Biggie’s Clam Bar in Carlstadt, and tied in second Davey’s in Montvale and The Cornerstone in Hillsdale.
The awards ranked restaurants in over 50 food categories including the best bagels, bakeries, burgers, Chinese restaurants, cupcakes, ice cream, Italian restaurants, Mexican restaurants, pizza, and more.
