New BBQ Joint Plans To Open In July

If you’ve passed by the Gateway Center on Franklin Turnpike lately, you may have noticed new signage that sparked your interest.

“Coming Soon: Shake and Sizzle.” What does that mean?

According to Pete B., the owner and operator of , his new venture, Shake and Sizzle, will offer BBQ dishes with unique menu options.

“We are going to have everything from burgers and ribs to Portuguese Chicken,” he said.

Pete says he plans on opening the new place – located just a few shops down from his pizzeria restaurant – sometime in July.

“It is painted, but we are still waiting on some things, like furniture, until it is totally finished,” he said.

The owner also says he is working out some grand opening perks for Mahwah residents.
