Take Me Out To The Ice Cream And Crepes!

Field of Creams Cafe expands menu and hours for the season

Though peanuts and crackerjacks might initially come to mind, cheering fans in the stands are finding a wider array of treats available at the field.

“We really aren’t a ‘concession stand,’ in the traditional sense. We are a café, and we want people to know that,” said manager Patricia King.

In addition to expanding it’s hours to be open seven days a week, Field of Creams has been adding new, unique items to it’s menu every season. The selection includes soft serve ice cream, milk shakes, sweet crepes, and full line of bubble tea.

“What other place can you go to watch a baseball game while eating a French crepe?” owner Greg Tonnon asked.

“We really want to provide people with a unique option, whether they are here for a game, walk over from the Ramapo Reservation, Lake Henry, Ramapo College, or if they are just passing by for something to eat.”

“The feedback and reception from community members to our expansion is awesome and incredibly gratifying and inspiring,” said King, who is excited for the upcoming Memorial Day festivities.

For the sixth consecutive year, Field of Creams we will provide the food and airbrush temporary tattoos for the annual Memorial Day Softball tournament.

Weather permitting, the café is open Monday-Thursday 5-9 p.m., Friday 5 – 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
