A New Job From MEVO

Followers of MEVO!  There is bad news and good news.

For the bad news, three of our Earth Crew Leaders, Nick LaBruna, David Choi, and Karlito Almeda will be heading off to college, leaving their positions vacant. The good news is that if you are a current volunteer or merely someone who is concerned about the environment, who wants to step up and lead the great organization of MEVO, these leadership positions are yours to take.

And why lead MEVO? Well, you have a chance to restore the local environments of towns throughout Northern New Jersey. Some of MEVO’s past efforts included: removing hundreds of tires from Stag Hill in Mahwah, rebuilding and enhancing a hiking trail in Emerson, NJ, and throwing out hundreds of pounds/kilograms of garbage. And all since January 2013. We’ve made the towns of New Jersey cleaner places, but there is more work to be done, and we would like a new generation of leaders to carry MEVO into the future.

We hope to see you leading MEVO soon!
