Online Green Market "Fresh from the Farm 365" Launches in Northern New Jersey

Entrepreneur and Bergen County resident Caren Sinclair-Kay announced the launch of her new company, Fresh from the Farm 365, giving consumers easy access to all-natural, healthy food from local farmers’ markets.  The company offers just-picked organic fruits and vegetables; meat, poultry and dairy from animals raised without hormones or antibiotics; and an array of baked goods and specialty items produced by local artisans using the very same ingredients Fresh from the Farm 365 sells.

Concerned by the health impact of processed foods, Sinclair-Kay founded Fresh from the Farm 365 to make it easier and more convenient for people to eat pure, nutritious foods produced locally.  “The more I learned about the prevalence of preservatives, pesticides, GMO’s and artificial colors and flavors, the more I was inspired to make healthy foods more accessible for people,” said Sinclair-Kay.    “There is so much local goodness available in our area, but not every one has the time to frequent farmers’ markets to do their weekly shopping. With Fresh from the Farm 365, our Personal Pickers do the work, bringing the farmer’s market to our customer’s doorstep.”

“Our service is very personalized – it’s really like having a personal shopper at the farmer’s market,” Sinclair-Kay added.  “We encourage our customers to communicate directly with their Personal Picker to ensure they are getting exactly what they want.”

The online market draws upon some of the Tri-State area's best family farms and food purveyors, including Blooming Hill Farms, Samascott Orchards, Phillips Farms, Hot Bread Kitchen, Martin's Pretzels, Beth's Farm Kitchen, and Montclair Bread Company.

With a proven entrepreneurial track record leading DoodleDeals (acquired by Plum District) and Red Jam Media (acquired by ThirdAge Inc.), Sinclair-Kay brings to the local food market much experience in building and scaling online business ventures.

Fresh From The Farm 365 is currently available in northern New Jersey, and will soon be expanding throughout the Tri-State area.
