Local Stores Offer Cyber Monday Savings

Mahwah residents who didn’t want to brave the crowds on Black Friday or Small Business Saturday still have one more big chance to save courtesy of Cyber Monday.

Similar to the two other major shopping events, Cyber Monday differs in that consumers don’t have to leave the comfort of their own homes (or offices) to take advantage of some pretty big pre-holiday deals. All the bargains laid out for Cyber Monday are for online shoppers only.

So how can you find the best deals online this Cyber Monday?

A bunch of stores in and around Mahwah are having Cyber Monday deals:

• Kohl’s– This retailer has over 300 cyber sales set up on its website.
• Carter's -- The store has online "doorbuster" deals on certain items, 25% off prices that are already reduced up to 50%, and free shipping on orders over $50.
• NY & Company -- Check the store's website for $10, $15 and $20 clothing offers, 50-70% off sales and free shipping Monday only.
• Modell's -- The online store is offering sales on clothing, shoes and athletic equipment. Check the site for deals like an $80 Louisville Slugger for $20, $5 yoga mats and $15 jackets and hoodies.
• Staples -- Staples online store is offering up to 70% off and free shipping on items like laptops (the cheapest is a Gateway for $349), desktops and printers.
• The Home Depot -- The hardware store's biggest deals are on appliances, holiday decorations and tools. Its Cyber Monday sales include free shipping.

Stores with nearby locations celebrating Cyber Monday in a big way:

• Walmart – This retailer's homepage says it "saved the hottest Black Friday deals" for Cyber Monday.
• Target – This store’s Cyber Monday sales include a flat screen TV for $299 and Canon digital camera for $99.
• Amazon – The only store on our list without a physical location, Amazon has become known for its Cyber Monday deals. The online retailer is offering a host of them, incluing the Kindle Fire for $129.
