Lost Cat: Have You Seen Buddy?

Two-and-a-half year old orange cat Buddy has gone missing from his Mahwah home, and his family is asking for the community’s help to find him.

Buddy ran out of his home on Feb. 5 when he was spooked by a furniture delivery. He ran away in the Ramapo Ridge Phase I section of Mahwah.

Buddy’s owner Carol Hesse describes him as sweet, but very shy. She said she has only had him for two months, so he is not familiar with the area.

“I’ve been going crazy, he’s a wonderful cat,” she said.

Hesse is offering a $500 reward to anyone who returns Buddy.
