Raiders Plan Halloween Bash

The following was submitted to Patch by the Mahwah Raiders Soccer Club.

The Mahwah Raiders are hosting their main fundraiser for the year, a Halloween Bash at Apple Ridge Country Club on October 26.  All are invited to join in the festivities, a buffet dinner, DJ dancing and Tricky Trays. 

The Raiders Soccer Club brings together near 250 youth from Mahwah and surrounding communities to learn the game of soccer in the Northern Counties Soccer Association, a competitive league serving Northern New Jersey and Southern New York. 

The Mahwah Raiders teaches lifelong skills of good sportsmanship, hard work, discipline, and teamwork while also promoting the development of soccer excellence for all players, through competition and training programs in a club environment.

Proceeds from the annual Halloween Bash event have been responsible for permitting the Raiders to maintain one of the lowest registration fees among all the Northern Counties Soccer clubs. 

This is the main fundraiser for the Mahwah Raiders and all are welcomed.  

There will be a buffet dinner with salad and dessert, soda, beer and wine. Dance through the night with DJ Scott Rubin at Apple Ridge Country Club (269 East Crescent Ave, Mahwah) on Friday, October 26, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. 

There will also be tricky trays with lots of great prizes. Cost is $75 per person. Tickets are available in advance by check. Please make checks payable to Mahwah Raiders and send to Jennifer Boris at 15 Smokehouse Lane, Mahwah, 07430.
